He attended medical school and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by Internal Medicine residency at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµ of Washington – Boise program in Boise, Idaho. He stayed on as a chief resident for an additional year. He completed his board certification in Internal Medicine followed by Culinary Medicine Specialist certification. In addition to serving as chief resident, he also served on the Recruiting Committee and the Critical Care Committee at the Boise VA. He is currently a member of the ACP, and the Society for General Internal Medicine.
