    Dr. Wolferz strives to take a whole-person, lifestyle medicine approach to patient care. His clinical practice includes taking care of patients across the lifespan for preventive, acute, and chronic disease management. Dr. Wolferz is trained in prescribing medication-assisted treatment for addiction (opioid use, alcohol, and tobacco), HIV PrEP, and psychiatric medications while being skilled in office procedures such as joint injections, long-acting contraception, and minor skin procedures. His research interests include whole food, plant-predominant nutrition for chronic disease remission. His medical interests also include exercise as medicine, public health policy toward active transportation, and the impact of community-oriented physicians.

    When outside the clinic, he enjoys trail and marathon running, hiking in the Wasatch, and cooking for friends and family.
