She completed her ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµ of Utah. She went on to finish a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she performed lensectomy, vitrectomy, scleral buckles, lasers, and injections in infants, ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµren, and adults.
